I didn't receive my activation email! How may I activate my account?

Under normal conditions you should receive your activation email after 1-15 minutes.

  • Over 99,9% of the problems regarding "not received" activation emails are in fact "non-issues", so first of all: Please check (and double check) your Spam/Junk mail folder
  • If you checked your Spam/Junk mail folder and your activation email is still missing in action, please check that there is no typo in the address shown in "System Preferences -> fruux" (typos are the second most popular reason for not received activation mails). If there actually is a typo in your email address, please click "Change Account" and sign-up again with the correct email address (the system will automatically purge the unused account after a while)

Ok - you checked that the activation email didn't end up in your spam filter and also you double checked that there is no typo in your email address? You might belong to the unlucky 0,01% using a crappy email provider (or the activation email was rejected, because your email account was/is over quota). In this case please either consider signing up again with another email address from a nice provider with well configured servers or get in touch with our support and we'll help you as soon as possible.
