The Preference Pane opens on every sync. Whats wrong?

Thats probably a permission problem or a duplicate installation. Please check the following two directories

  • ~/Library/PreferencePanes/ (~ = /Users/YourMacUserAccount)
  • /Library/PreferencePanes/
You should have only one fruux file named exactly(!) fruux.prefPane in the first folder. Delete all other fruux files in those two folders. After that please fix permissions:
  • open "Disk Utility.app"
  • select your "Macintosh HD"
  • click "Repair Permissions"
  • wait until done (about 10-20 minutes)
  • when done, shutdown your Mac (not just standby) and restart
