fruux is powered by many open source projects. We are very grateful for a lot of great projects that help us building fruux. Naturally we also actively contribute to the open source community and release a lot of open source software ourselves.

Sync technology
We are behind sabre/dav, which is the most popular open source implementation of the CardDAV and CalDAV standards. Besides us, developers and companies around the globe use our sabre/dav technology to deliver sync functionality to millions of users.
- sabre/dav
This library is one of our core technologies at fruux and allows you to easily extend applications with WebDAV/CardDAV/CalDAV support.
- sabre/vobject
A library for easy parsing and manipulation of iCalendar and vCard objects.
- sabre/xml
A specialized xml reader and writer. At it's heart, the library maps xml elements to objects.
- sabre/event
A library providing utilities for lightweight event-based programming.
- sabre/http
A library providing utilities for dealing with http requests and responses.
- sabre/davclient
The library provides an easy to use library for consuming Web-, Cal- and CardDAV services.
Other projects
- ec2dns
A set of command line tools that makes it easy to display public hostnames of EC2 instances and ssh into them via their tag name.
